Interbreed Double 2006

After a five year absence from the stud classes at the Perth Royal Show, we had a very successful re-entry into the competition in 2006, winning two Interbreed Championships.

Monterey Showgirl A130, an outstanding 16 month old daughter of Monterey Sundowner, followed on from being awarded Junior and Grand Champion Murray Grey Female, to blitz the field in the Junior Interbreed Heifer Competition by a huge margin of 12 points. She was described by judge Jason Salier, Minnie-Vale Charolais, NSW as “structurally correct, lovely clean front-end, while retaining plenty of femininity; a fantastic individual for her respective breed”.

An exceptional son of Monterey Tremendous, Monterey Impeccable, won both Senior and Grand Champion Bull as well as Supreme Murray Grey, before going on to take out Senior Interbreed Champion Bull.
Impeccable was a clear winner, six points ahead of his nearest rival. Judge Don Patch, Bunya Creek Angus stud, Qld, said he found Impeccable to be the most complete senior beef bull, with “power, growth, weight and eye muscling”.
